🎂 Today I turn 40 🎂

What's changed? 30 vs 40!

Today I turn 40.

At 30 I was loud in NZ
At 40 I’m quiet in Cali

At 30 my focus was shotgun wide
At 40 it’s now sniper narrow

At 30 I’d been married for 4 years
At 40 I’m coming up to Year 14

At 30 I had 2 businesses that I thought were my babies
At 40 I have 2 daughters who actual are

At 30 I wanted to fight my foes instantly
At 40 I patiently realize the world is round

At 30 I had a big circle
At 40 only a few deep needed in my corner

At 30 I had a rad bod
At 40 I finally got the dad bod

At 30 my bandwidth was exploited by many
At 40 my bandwidth is prioritized for me

At 30 I wanted more THINGS
At 40 I want more TIME

At 30 I cared a LOT about a LOT
At 40 I care a LOT more about a LOT less

At 30 I wanted to be understood
At 40 I realized I don’t need to be

At 30 I wanted to be somebody
At 40 I realize I already was

Same Me.
New Decade.

The only thing that hasn’t changed? My wife’s usually right. Haha.
